Monologue Mondays

How do you make a powerful first impression in a monologue?

Monologue Mondays provides audition-seekers tools and tips for approaching the big audition.
Five students will receive live feedback and "workshop" their introduction and monologue(s) while participating colleagues view and take notes as fly-on-the-wall observers. The workshop provides an opportunity for participants to gain confidence performing while building audition strategies.

When registering, please indicate if you would be willing to "workshop" your memorized monologue(s) so that everyone can learn through the process. List two of your most assured and contrasting pieces. Our workshop goal is to identify and develop the impression given by both verbal and nonverbal language and explore ways to cultivate that in an audition setting.
