Leah Heater
Mezzo-Soprano Leah H. is a dedicated music educator and performer, working with students of all ages and skill levels on piano and voice. Leah has found tremendous success in private teaching, working with young children and beginners, as well as at the collegiate level as an adjunct professor working with experienced, advanced adults. Catering to each student's interests is a cornerstone of her philosophy, whether it's pop and contemporary or classical music, the Disney Songbook or Beethoven.
Leah graduated from the Masters and Artist Diploma programs at University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. In addition to critically acclaimed performances at Carnegie Hall, Leah is credited with successful stints with the Pittsburgh Opera, Dallas Opera, Opera Theatre of St. Louis, Virginia Opera, Rome Festival Opera, Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra, Opera Ithaca, CCM Philharmonic, Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, Asheville Symphony Orchestra, and Cincinnati Opera.
