Jessica Lefkow, acting
Jessica Lefkow has directed, taught, toured, devised and performed professional and educational theater in Europe, Asia and the United States. Her training in classical theatre, coupled with extensive experience shaping works for ensemble, audition and solo performance has enabled her to guide actors from the page to the stage, whether as creators or interpreters of the work.
Jessica has been an instructor at Montgomery Community College, (Rockville), École Supérieure de Publicité (Paris) and Faust International, (Hong Kong). She has led workshops, camps and productions for the Shakespeare Theatre Company, the American Shakespeare Center, Theatre Lab, the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, Lycée Rochambeau, (Rockville), Jackson-Reed Public High School, and the American Embassy School of New Delhi, (India). Jessica is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, a multiple Helen Hayes Award nominee (Director, Supporting Actor, Best Ensemble), and winner of the 2023 Helen Hayes Award for Best Direction of a Play (Helen). She is a French speaker and mom to three terrific adults.
