Ashley Larkin
Ashley Larkin is a voice teacher and performer in the Washington DC area. Recently, she won first place in NATS Mid-Atlantic Regional Competition, sang Bach’s Magnificat with the Arioso Chorale, and was the soprano soloist in Bob Chilcott’s St. John Passion. Ms. Larkin received her Master of Music at Roosevelt University, and her Bachelor of Science in Music from Towson University. As a teacher, her goal is to guide her students into finding their own unique voice through vocal technique, music history, and musicality in a compassionate manner to produce a well-rounded performer. She focuses largely on teaching breath support, as it is the foundation of healthy singing. Once the foundation is established she works with the student to find their individual voice.
